I continue my rubric for Red Sea lovers who are looking for their sea in Egypt.
This time I will tell and show you the sea in the suburbs of Hurghada.
Our most unusual Red Sea experience was at Port Ghalib, which is a few hours’ drive from Hurghada.
There, at the Palace Port Ghalib hotel, we were greeted by a very unusual sea. It was both very calm, where you could even enter from the shore (though only in one place), and very stormy between the reef shores (where you could only enter from a pier). In these places there are very beautiful corals and a lot of fish, as well as turtles.
The village of Sahl Hasheesh, although it is not famous for its reefs and it is very windy in many hotels, such as in the one where we have already been 2 times – Baron Palace Sahl Hasheesh, but it is also interesting there.
The beach is sandy, a slab starts right at the entrance, and you need to be careful when entering the sea. But the hotel has built a stationary pier, from where it is easier to get directly to the depth, otherwise it will take a long time to go to the depth.
In another area of the Sahl Hasheesh village, closer to Hurghada, there was a very interesting and lively sea near hotel The Oberoi Resort Sahl Hasheesh.
The beach is sandy, entry is possible only from a stationary pier. The reefs are great on both sides of the reef, and the colors of the sea at this hotel are simply mesmerizing.
To be continued.
