Now it’s time to tell you about the most interesting part of the hotel, which works according to the all inclusive concept, about food and drinks. In the first part, please read about the territory and the room, and in the second, about the infrastructure and service at the hotel.
What is so unusual, you ask? This is the fact that there is no buffet meals at the hotel, absolutely no, and this is very great 🙂
Breakfast, lunch and dinner are à la carte only. Every day you can choose where you will have breakfast, lunch or dinner. Which restaurant works, you can know from your personal assistant.
In total, the hotel has 7 restaurants for general use, 1 restaurant in the area for adults only and 1 more for rooms with a vip concept.
We had breakfast at the KOZA restaurant in the building of restaurants and SPA (international cuisine)
and at the GAIA restaurant by the sea.
First, they bring traditional Turkish snacks,
and then everything that you order from the menu (the choice is unlimited). There are cereals, and pancakes, and egg dishes, pastries of various types, smoothies and juices.
Breakfast is well prepared, nicely presented, but not all very tasty (if to be honest).
We had lunch at the KOZA and SORRISO restaurant (Italian cuisine). The first restaurant has a good selection of food (meat, fish, etc.). Everything is quite tasty and beautifully served. The soups and salads are delicious. In the Italian restaurant we liked it less – the pizza was dry, and we had to wait for it long enough.
But for dinner, almost all the hotel’s restaurants work and to get there, you need to sign up through your personal assistant.
In our rating, the first place was taken by the SHIBORI restaurant (Asian cuisine). It was a VERY delicious dinner. Each dish looked great and tasted great! Bravo to the cooks and many thanks!
The second place was taken by the dinner at the GAIA restaurant by the sea. There we chose seafood and fish, they were delicious and well prepared. Only we had to wait for it for a long time.
And the third place was taken by the ASMA restaurant (Turkish cuisine). It seemed to us that the choice there was not very interesting, and the preparation could have been better. But I really liked the approach with traditional Turkish appetizers, which were not brought on our table, but brought and asked to choose what exactly you want to eat from this today.
We did not have time to visit the rest of the restaurants, which means there is a reason to return.
There is also a small pastry shop in the restaurant building. Honestly, I can’t understand why it was punished so much 🙂 It is located in a terrible dark place, literally on the aisle where there are always a lot of guests.
Therefore, it was impossible to enjoy a delicious cake or ice cream, I wanted to grab something and run And the fact that there were only a couple of tables did not add optimism either. The choice was not very large (even comparing with the pastry shops of the Regnum and Kaya Palazzo hotels, where we were on New Year 2021). There is also Movenpick brand ice cream. Oh, and one more oddity: coffee and tea need to be ordered from a nearby bar 🙂 I’m sure the management urgently needs to figure out where to move the pastry shop: it should be a bright and spacious place with a beautiful view and good service, where it will be pleasant to sit on a soft sofa.
And it is strange that there is a cafe in the hotel that serves ice cream, some pastries, coffee and tea. This cafe is located in a separate building, and not at the entrance, like a poor pastry shop.
Well, about drinks. The hotel has a huge number of bars – literally at every step and with different concepts: sports, on the beach, vitamin, in the infinity pool, etc. The selection of drinks is extensive, including good premium spirits and a very good selection of cocktails (my favorite part).
Our favorite bar in the hotel is the Pablo Escobar. This is a truly unique place in the hotel: beautiful views, excellent service, live music and a completely unusual selection of signature cocktails.
If you like this combination, then you need to go exactly to this bar. The rest of the bars serve classic cocktails. The choice of spirits is practically the same, there is no situation when something is missing or unavailable.
All drinks and meals can be ordered by QR code, paper menu is not served.
In general, all day in the hotel you can walk from one restaurant to another, from one bar to another and you will not be bored 🙂
We loved the à la carte concept, it would be great if more hotels in Turkey follow this concept. It is much tastier and you can spend time as in an excellent restaurant: with pleasant interiors, contingent and service.
I can safely recommend the hotel for holidays in the low season (May, June, October) and most likely for couples who appreciate good service, food, an interesting concept and the natural beauty around is important to them. Yes, the hotel has an infrastructure for children, but nevertheless it will not be very convenient for them there: I mean, first of all, food according to the menu, which you have to wait for a long time, and while the children are waiting, they begin to have fun in the restaurants, driving here and there 🙂 .
