In the first part of my review of the most incredible hotel in Bodrum, I talked about the territory and the room. Thank you all for your comments and feedback. Yes, I understand that the first part was not the most positive, but I promised to tell everything as it is. But the more pleasant it is for me to continue my story about what really pleased us a lot – about the infrastructure and service at the hotel.
Having settled in, we ran to the sea. The hotel has 2 beaches: only for adults (which at the time of our stay was closed due to the reconstruction of the area around) and the main beach.
The main beach is spacious enough, there is a bar with service to the sun lounger, changing rooms, showers at the exit, toilets (but they are at the far end of the beach), and even a pool. On the beach, Maldivian sand is poured and there is so much of it that at the entrance to the sea you directly fall through, you get such a large sandy step. The depth builds up quickly.
The sun beds are very comfortable with mattresses. Umbrellas keep the sun well and provide good shade. Beach towels can be taken in unlimited quantities: they are large and very nice.
Everything on the beach is beautiful, only it is located in a small bay without a great view of the open sea, and in front of your eyes is always a neighboring hotel or pier, which divides the beaches into an adult and a main one.
The pier is beautiful: very spacious, with great views, lots of slopes into the sea. There is also a bar and service.
Near the pier is the GAIA restaurant, where you can have breakfast, lunch or dinner (by appointment). The restaurant is pretty, right at the water’s edge with great sea views.
And just a little about the food infrastructure 🙂 The hotel has a huge number of restaurants and bars, some of which we managed to visit. There are really a lot of them everywhere: from the sea to the main building 🙂 And yes, there is also a pastry shop 🙂 I will tell you all about this in the next part of the review.
The adult beach also has its own restaurant and bar and hosts many parties and music events.
There are swimming pools in the hotel, but they are not so exciting: they are located among the concrete and the buildings of the hotel (the main pool and near the children’s pool). And therefore they do not seem very spacious.
But there is an infinity pool, which is very interesting: with a bar and sun loungers. Such a place for super photos 🙂
The pools, like the beach, have excellent service: the staff are always ready to spread towels, bring water and help in every way if necessary.
And there is a great indoor pool, good size and in a pleasant airy environment, opening onto a small terrace.
Near this pool there is a 2-storey gym
and a transition to the most wonderful place of the hotel – an incredibly spacious and beautiful SPA center.
To visit the SPA center, it was necessary to pre-register. At the entrance to it, you are met, escorted to the locker rooms, where you are asked to leave all things and shoes, changing into a dressing gown, slippers, which are in every locker.
The changing rooms are comfortable and have everything you need. Then you are escorted to the relaxation zone, where you can choose a place to taste. We liked sun loungers, not sofas 🙂
In the sauna area there is a hammam (with sooo hot stones), a Finnish sauna (well heated), and a steam room. There is also a salt room.
The spa has excellent service: you are constantly offered drinks from the VITAMIN bar: interesting cocktails and all sorts of things, as well as water. Nobody imposes paid SPA services, which is very pleasing 🙂 You can spend time in the SPA and completely relax. There are no children running and there is silence with pleasant quiet music. Children are only admitted to the indoor pool, which is located at a fairly large distance from the spa.
Service is a strong point in the hotel – there are a lot of staff, not all of them are trained enough yet, but they try very hard and are not afraid to communicate with guests, and what is important, they know English, and some also know Russian well.
During our stay at the hotel, we were accompanied by 2 personal assistants around the clock in shifts, with whom we were in touch by what’s app. They informed us about the work of restaurants, bars and other events at the hotel. If it was necessary to ask for water in the room or cleaning, we also wrote to them. All requests were fulfilled instantly, professionally and unobtrusively. Yes, there were a couple of moments when the information turned out to be inaccurate, but we immediately found out everything and did not see any problems. We thank Anastasia and Alena for such work!
I think that in the SPA and on the beach the service can be called excellent, and in restaurants and bars it is good, but I cannot remember a moment where the service would have been at a not good level.
It is easy to write about what is really a strong point in the hotel, but we agreed: only the truth and nothing but the truth 🙂
So in the next part (let’s see what it turns out to be) wait for details about food and drinks at the hotel 🙂
