I want to show you our impressions of Oludeniz, Turkey and tell a little why we went there 3 times already 🙂
In short, the magic of this place is in an incredible combination of nature, mountains, sea and local specialties.
There is a choice where to stay: either in the mountains with crazy sea views (our choice, because we’ve traveled in May), but away from the beaches, or closer to the sea, but among the busy local life.
We’ve really liked the sea in Oludeniz almost everywhere:
– on Belcekiz Beach (admission is free, paid sun beds and umbrellas)
– on Kidrak Beach (entrance is paid, sun beds and umbrellas are paid) – the place is absolutely wonderful with a beautiful sea, mountains and pines, but it is located a bit further from Oludeniz, therefore you need to get there either by dolmush (it comes 1 in hour) or by taxi. You can walk there too but it will not be a great experience because of a very busy road.
– and, of course, in the world famous Blue Lagoon (entrance is paid, because this is a national reserve, sun beds and umbrellas are paid), where there are 2 parts: from the open sea (with the incredible color of the sea)
and the inside – the lagoon (we think it looks like the lake, not the sea, that’s why we didn’t liked it).
I highly recommend a trip to this wonderful corner of Turkey.
