Arriving in Cologne from Bensberg, we took advantage of the wonderful weather, and ran to see the city.
A couple of years ago we were already passing through Cologne, but we hardly saw it, so this time we decided that we have to know it.
The first thing that attracts attention in Cologne is, of course, the Rhine with many pretty bridges.
The most photographed is the Hohenzollern bridge or the bridge of love, where there are many, many locks of lovers.
We’ve really liked Cologne Cathedral, and it’s conveniently located for walking in the city center.
We were lucky to see the local Christmas Fair with an ice rink.
Especially we liked walking along the promenade and admiring the incredibly beautiful sky and landscapes around.
