Review of Hotel Cour de Courbeau, Strasbourg

I was going to write a lot of good directly in the name of the post, but I’ve decided not to and to tell you all later.

Hotel Cour de Courbeau definitely deserves one of the highest places in my favorite hotel collection, and I only regret that we’ve stayed there only 1 night.

We’ve arrived at the hotel in the evening, so the photos were not as beautiful as I would like.

We were immediately struck by the hotel building – there was a feeling of some very ancient castle or manor, just like from movies.

This hotel is a peaceful and very harmonious combination of the charm of antiquity and elements of modernity. This is immediately visible when you get inside the hotel.

Nice small reception and quick check-in.

Although the hotel is only 4 stars, but we were escorted to the room.

Our room was a simply royal – spacious, very comfortable, and even with a large balcony. I am sure that the hotel made us a room upgrade, but for some reason did not say anything about it.

The room has a comfortable sleeping area with a wonderful comfortable bed, great linens,

as well as a living area with chairs and a table. There is although spacious wardrobe.

A very comfortable and brand new bathroom is separated from the toilet.

Our great impression of the hotel has continued in the morning during breakfast. The breakfast room itself is small and quite dark, but the breakfast itself turned out to be excellent.

There are several types of fresh juice, water, juices, coffee and tea (they bring all of a good quality to your order), excellent cold dishes (salmon, fish, meat, many types of cheese, etc.), pastries, all kinds of cereal. For hot, you should definitely order an omelet, it was very tasty, and beautifully served.

But the desserts that modestly stand in the corner became the best moment of the breakfast. It was incredibly delicious panacotta, tiramisu, crème brulee and other joys for true connoisseurs of delicious desserts.

The service is very good everywhere: from reception to breakfast.

The hotel has great location almost in the center and close to all the interesting places of the Strasbourg.

The only negative for us, because of which we were only 1 night at the hotel, was the lack of a sauna or a steam room. For us, this is a must after many hours of walking around the city (which I have written more than once, of course).

We thank the hotel and its entire team for creating and supporting such an interesting hotel, and we are happy to recommend the hotel for a visit when you are in Strasbourg.
